“One of the best cafes in Brighton! Not only is the coffee incredible and the sandwiches absolutely delicious, but what really makes it the best coffee shop around is the guaranteed warm welcome you will receive. Ala is one of the most lovely, welcoming and genuine people you could ever meet. The atmosphere is always so warm and friendly, you can tell how much care goes into everything they do. Couldn’t recommend this place enough - if you’re in Brighton, you absolutely have to visit! ☕️❤️”

“Visited today, Ala was very accommodating especially with my fussy 5 year old.. The food was outstanding, we ordered a very simple, ham sandwich, beans on toast and the egg avo - the bread was so fresh, everything was so tasty. Ala made us feel very welcome and made time to chat with us. Such a lovely little place, totally worth a visit.🙏”

“my friend and I came out to Brighton from Southampton today, got myself an iced chai latte with a southern fried chicken and mayo sandwich, and can I just say, it’s so delicious! kind and friendly service, the drink i requested was one that the owner hasn’t made before, and he did a brilliant job, as it tastes rather delicious! and the sandwich is absolutely lovely! 5*!!! will be coming here again, when I am next down in Brighton, supporting this business! ✨✨✨”

“Great food and fresh ingredients. The cheese is fantastic. We normally go to chain cafes but we have changed our normal cafe to this one. Has protection from the rain ect. Only bad points is: they stop serving food at 4pm but open till 6. The owner is kind and polite 😊”
